🗺️ Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Kampala/Entebbe → Bwindi – Journey to the Jungle

• Early morning departure from Kampala or Entebbe

• Scenic road trip through Uganda’s countryside with a lunch stop along the way

• Arrive in Bwindi by late afternoon; check into your lodge and relax with views of the forest canopy

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking – Into the Impenetrable Forest

• Early breakfast before a short drive to the park headquarters

• Pre-trek briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority guides

• Begin the gorilla trek (1–6 hours depending on group location)

• Spend up to 1 magical hour with a gorilla family

• Return to the lodge for lunch and optional afternoon community walk or rest

Day 3: Bwindi → Kampala – The Journey Home

• Early morning departure from Bwindi, heading back toward Kampala

• Arrive in Kampala or Entebbe by early evening, bringing your unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure to a close

• Departure Point: Hotel or Airport in Kampala or Entebbe

• Departure Time: 6:30 AM (Hotel pickups begin earlier)

📌 Additional Information for 2025 Treks:

• Confirmation & Itinerary: Sent within 48 hours of booking (subject to permit availability)

• Fitness Requirement: Participants must have a moderate to high fitness level – the trek is challenging but rewarding

• Not Recommended For: Pregnant travelers, wheelchair users, or those with heart, back, or serious medical conditions

• Luggage: One suitcase + one carry-on per person. Oversized or excess luggage (e.g. bikes, golf clubs) must be approved in advance

• Age Limit: Minimum age for gorilla trekking is 15 years

• Domestic Flights: Available upon request at an additional fee (limited seats – book early)
